World Aids Day

" Stop Aids. Keep the promise"

This is the slogan for World Aids day t-shirts.yupp. i went to do CIP on the 2nd of Dec, which is one day after international World Aids Day. Hui Min , Derek and me went to Toe Pah Yoh(is this the right spelling?) to sell handmade flowers. Those flowers were made by Aids patients and volunteers and the proceeds will go to Tan Tock Seng Hospital Community Fund. They are only going for $2 per stalk so D*** those cheapo Bstar with attitudes that will even poisons monsters. okok. i'd calmed down...

It was a good experiences,i seen the different faces of homo sapiens that very day. Some were really generous, HIP HIP HOORAY to this young lady who bought 18flowers from us without hesitant, CHEERS to many who bought5stalks which make up a nice red $10 note and WELL DONE to all that have donate any amounts, bought any flowers and those who wanted to donate but couldn't afford to, the intangible generoisity in your hearts are appreciated =)) BOO HOO to those rude passes-by who made unkind remarks or actions that are totally uncalled for *make a monkey face*

and and the highlight of the day is this very very sweet middle-aged couple. the wife walked past us so i asked her if she wanted to help the aids patients by buying the flowers, she bought one den she turned and give it to her husband like a sweet little girl in love, her husband accepted the flower gracefully and guess what they frenched in public. HA HA just kidding. it's just a kiss. hey, NO! ... it's a TRUE LOVE KISS!!~~~ LOL. so sweet right. den they walked away, like acting in some taiwan idol serials like that. HA HA. it's not the end yet. The husband turned back and gave me $4. i thought he was so sweet and wanted to but 2 flowers for his butterfly lover but it turned out that he asked me to buy mac's student meal for him cuz he seem too old to pose as a student!!
the second part of the last sentence is purely a JOKE!! HAHA. i wanted to pass him 2stalks of flower but he rejected, saying that he just wanted to donate the money, so sweet right. but i will rather him take the 2stalks to give her wife.SInce her wife gave him one, he shud give her 2 =) well, they're such a sweet couple.

i shud narrate one funny incident.
Derek and Hui Min are getting pretty pissed as the day went by as some of the pple wanted to donate money butdo not want the flower. they would rather they take the flower so that it seemed like we had worked hard as the number of flowers we had left had decreased.(what a weird logic right.LOL.) den there's this time when a woman donate $2 and when we passed her the flower, she inspected it and saw the World Aids Day tag and do not want the flower anymore, she wanted to donate and not take the flower. LOL. so when she start walking away, huimin practically jumped up and started chasing after her (HAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAH!) she was like 'aaa..wait..bu ke yi..' she tore away the tape and rushed to give the aunty the flower. As this thing happened, another thing is happening too. The mall gurad tracked us down!! he was like trying to chase us away but whne he came, we're like talking to the 'i dun like the World Aids tag" aunty so we kinda ignored him, but when huimin started to chase the aunty, it broke my bubble, i LAUGHED OUT LOUD, like seriously LOUD LOUD cuz i tink hui min is vv dramatic then. LO. but when turned to my side, the indian guard was like staring at me sternly, i tried to stop laughing but i guess my lips are still curled upward (ROWL!!) we evacuated tt place asap aft tt as smoke can be observed from the guard's ears...

guess what, i was caught by the guard again when we're resting at mos burger aft the whole thingand i couldn't resist but start selling the flowers again as there's only about 12 left before we sold 150stalks. GRR... stupid guards i only left 2 more b4 i reach my target.

The 3 of us gathered around $300 for the community fund that day. Huimin's sister bought 2 stalks while Hui Min's and me 5stalks each =) mine were for my mum, dad, grandaunt, granduncle, bros and me.

I guess i'll join SLC when i go to university. I like the feeling of doing CIP =)
